The owners of this 1960 suburban home felt it needed a larger kitchen, larger family room, a master bedroom with ensuite and a home office. The addition involved removing the entire rear wall of the house on both levels and extending back approx. 7' as well as building over the existing garage.

Special care was taken in the design and construction so that the existing tree in the backyard could remain, as it was planted by the client with her father when she was a child and held great sentimental value.
